WordPress help required. – Development of websites


I was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice regarding what I think is a WordPress issue.

I’m currently building a website through GoDaddy and WordPress, but I seem to be having trouble installing the theme I purchased through a third-party group.

I know it’s not the theme causing the problem as I had previously uploaded it through WordPress successfully but due to something I did incorrectly and lack of update on my part, I had to delete the theme and start over.

I successfully downloaded the theme to my computer and followed the following steps:

Login to WordPress > Dashboard > Appearance > Themes > Download Theme > Install Theme.

Everything worked perfectly until trying to install the theme, on which I just get the buffering symbol on my Microsoft Tab page, and nothing seems to change on the WordPress page, and no evidence that the theme is trying even to install.

I’m just wondering if anyone knows what could be causing this as I really want this issue resolved as soon as possible as it is delaying my further construction of the website. Is it a WordPress problem or is it an Internet problem? Located in Australia and my provider is Telstra.

I followed the same steps provided in my original post above and left it buffered continuously. After what I estimate to be between 30 and 60 minutes of buffering, the connection reset through my internet browser.
