ASTON, Pa., February 9, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Sensaphone’s redesigned infrastructure monitoring system tracks critical environmental conditions in data center infrastructure at multiple locations. The new IMS-4000E offers a single view of environmental and network equipment monitoring on an enhanced web-based user interface, increased security and increased processing power.

The new easy to use interface allows programming, data logging and access from any computer connected to the network. Users can view host and IMS-4000E node data from a single screen on any smartphone, tablet, or computer. The IMS-4000E system allows you to quickly view status, make program changes, and view historical data.

Ideal for large or small server rooms, the IMS-4000E system ensures availability by identifying potential problems before they become disasters. The system monitors conditions such as temperature, humidity, line voltage, water leaks, server response, UPS system, smoke, sound level, motion, room break-in , airflow, power outages, etc.

When the system detects that conditions are out of the desired range, it immediately notifies designated personnel via voice phone call, email or email to SMS. The IMS phone line provides redundant backup alarm notification in the event of a network failure. Additionally, the system provides more data logging and voice storage recordings than the original IMS-4000.

Each rack-mountable IMS-4000E host unit supports up to eight environmental sensors, as well as IP device monitoring to ensure component availability on the network. Users can add up to 31 expansion nodes that enable sensor monitoring. The IMS-4000 system can also accommodate motion sensors or reed switches, alerting staff when there is activity in the computer room outside of office hours.

The IMS-4000E monitoring system is easy to install and uses an SNMP MIB database that works with existing network management programs. An internal backup battery protects the system in the event of a power outage.
