3Pillar Global promotes COO, Director of Human Resources
David Sawatzky and Jamie Whitacre have new roles

Fairfax-based product lifecycle management company 3Pillar Global Inc. announced two promotions on Tuesday: David Sawatzky as COO and Jamie Whitacre as Director of Human Resources.
Sawatzky was previously the company’s delivery manager. Whitacre was senior vice president of talent.

Part of Sawatzky’s role as Director of Delivery included expanding 3Pillar offerings such as innovation consulting and machine learning. Previously, he led a team of 2,000 people as Vice President of SaaS and Customer Success for IBM’s Cognitive Solutions business unit.

Whitacre has worked with 3Pillar for 12 years, most recently with its global talent and employer brand teams to retain talent and develop its corporate culture. She graduated from James Madison University and Capella University.

Founded in 2006, 3Pillar develops digital business software products such as web and mobile applications and SaaS platforms for its clients including CARFAX, Fortune and PBS. After a series of acquisitions in early December 2020, it now has more than 2,000 employees in six countries. The company made the Inc. 5,000, the list of the fastest growing private companies in the United States, in 2021 for the ninth time.
