For the 1692 Storyline
Amadeus Collins
At the time our story is beginning, Amadeus Collins is 38 years of age,
married, with a son named Isaac, and the possibility of other children,
should anyone want to pick them up and portray them.
Amadeus Collins is a very intelligent and manipulative man, who has been able
to not only establish this fishing town, named for his family, but also walks
a fine line between both sides of the law and order.
By day he is the owner of the largest and only shipyard in this portion of
the new colonies, while at night, he is the head man in a smuggling ring,
lead by pirates. It is his night life which has provided the Collins the
majority of their fortunes.
One of Amadeus' biggest projects was the establishment of a home for his
family. While he was over seeing this grand project, he was sure to keep
secret one passageway from the sea. It was here that he gathered and stored
all goods that were confiscated by his pirates. There were many a ship headed
from England to the new land, that never made it without losing their riches
of gold, jewels, and other valuables.
Another note about Amadeus. When he set about in building his home, he hired
several thugs to clear the Natives from there. Not paying them anything for
their land. Killing most of the Braves, and leaving women and starving Native
children, to fend on their own.
Laura Stockbridge will emerge from the cave sometime during the start of the game, this
will be her 'origin' story. i'd like to have a Collins man for her to attach
herself to, failing that, she can simply befriend Issaac and try to take him.
She has been brought to this world by the pollution of the sacred space in
the cave. She isn't consciously seeking revenge, more like she's been brought
over by the cave itself, seeking a defender.
Agatha Mapes is married to Amadeus. she's a 'good witch' (Gee, that kind of
distinction just bugs the bejeebers outta me) and will catch on to Amadeus's
evil doing soon. she can either be the mother or stepmother of Issaac, up to
him. And she's not a jillion years old or anything!
Judah Zachery
born: Oct. 31st, 1660.

Coloring: Brown eyes, dark brown hair
Height: 5' 11"
Judah Zachery lived a life in poverty until he came to the small fishing town of Collinsport Maine, at the age of 16. There he signed on with what he thought was going to be a very prosperous and lucrative association with one Amadeus Collins.
Judah worked for a few years as a young fisherman on the high seas for the Collins fishing fleet. One day an opportunity arose where he was approached by a man to get even more money, and to attain it faster. He was led into a life of piracy on the high seas. Soon he discovered, that Amadeus Collins was the leader of this venture too.
Judah always showed an interest in things of the occult, and soon had joined a secret coven of witches, that met the 13th of each month in the woods. Judah learned and cultivated the black arts into a finely tuned mechanism to be used to help further his own causes.
As the years passed, Judah and Amadeus Collins' relationship went through a variety of stages. Though he began as an employee, it was not long before Amadeus saw there was something special about Judah, and made him a friend. Soon confidences were exchanged, and the two men grew to trust one another. It was not a far step for jealousy and betrayal to emerge, and so it did, making them mortal enemies in the end.
James Forsyth Smith Bio

James is a Missionary, sent to Collinsport to help convert the Native
Americans and provide a church for the colonists. Being of Puritanical back
ground, James is a staunch believer in the Almighty, and is concerned there
might be a coven starting up in the area. He is a single man, with handsome
looks, and a charming personality. Though deeply religious, he does not brow
beat his converts into submission into the church. Instead he tries to win
them over with kindness by giving them what they need. Be it food, shelter
or whatever.
Currently James has a close ally in his trusted Native American guide and
assistant, Chianook, commonly called Spotted Horse by his tribesman.
